Privacy Policy

MazaPoker (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates mazapoker.com, an educational poker resource offering guides, strategy articles, tools, and videos for beginner and low-stakes players. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Who We Collect Information From

We collect limited personal information from visitors who choose to interact with us — for example, by sending a message through our contact form or joining our email list. You can read almost everything on MazaPoker without giving us any personal information at all.

What We Collect

  • Contact form submissions: If you contact us through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the message you send.
  • Email list signups: If you join our email list, we collect your email address. We do not require your name or any other detail to subscribe.
  • Server and technical logs: Our hosting provider may automatically collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and basic server log data for security, troubleshooting, and routine site operations.
  • Information stored on your own device: Some of our interactive tools (such as the Poker Session Tracker) save the information you enter in your browser’s local storage on your own device. That data stays on your device — it is not transmitted to us or stored on our servers.

What We Do Not Collect

MazaPoker is an educational site only. We do not operate real-money poker games, process wagers, or handle any gambling transactions, so we do not collect payment card details, banking information, or gambling account credentials.

How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to contact form messages and other enquiries
  • Send occasional updates about new guides, tools, and videos to people who have asked for them
  • Operate, maintain, and protect the website
  • Improve the site’s content and basic functionality

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Email and Service Providers

Contact form messages are delivered through the Brevo email service, which also stores the email addresses of people who join our email list and sends those updates on our behalf. We also use third-party service providers such as our website hosting provider to operate and secure the site. These providers may process information on our behalf as needed to provide their services.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep contact form submissions only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your message, maintain appropriate records, and support normal site operations. We keep email list addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. Server and technical log data may be retained by our hosting provider for a limited period for security, monitoring, and troubleshooting purposes.

Cookies

MazaPoker currently uses only cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for basic website functionality, including standard WordPress functionality. We do not currently use advertising or marketing cookies. If our cookie or tracking practices change in a meaningful way — for example, if we add analytics — we will update this policy.

Your Choices

Access, correction, or deletion requests: If you would like to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, please contact us through our contact page. We will respond as appropriate under applicable law.

Unsubscribing from our email list: Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can use it at any time. You can also ask us to remove you through our contact page.

Do Not Track

Some web browsers may send Do Not Track signals. Because there is not a universally accepted standard for how to respond to these signals, MazaPoker does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser requests.

Children’s Privacy

Poker is a game intended for adults. MazaPoker is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes to how we handle personal information, we will update this page and revise the date below.
